The team at Thrive Tribe spearheaded Kumu in 2023, fuelled by a deep passion for wellbeing and tech. They shared concerns about the chaotic digital wellness space—frustrated by the flood of misleading content, they saw the need for change.
This passion and desire for change led them to thorough research in the creator economy and health and wellness landscape—from candid chats to deep research dives, they saw the cry for authenticity, trust, and a real connection.
That's when Kumu was born. Their ethos? To curate wellness content powered by credible experts, banish misinformation and offer a human-first approach to wellbeing. Where wellness isn't a trend but a journey guided by authenticity and trust.
